Muzeul Colecţiilor de Artă, muzeu-satelit al MNAR, organizează luni, 24 octombrie 2016, ora 18.00, vernisajul expoziţiei Peisaje franceze în arta românească modernă care cuprinde lucrări inspirate atât de natură, cât și de contextul urban, realizate de artiștii români în timpul călătoriilor sau perioadelor de studiu petrecute în Franța.
Organizată sub patronajul Ambasadei Franței la București, expoziția cuprinde peste optzeci de lucrări de pictură și grafică, semnate de artiști precum Nicolae Grigorescu, Ioan Andreescu, Nicolae Grant, Kimon Loghi, Gheorghe Petraşcu, Theodor Pallady, Ştefan Popescu, Iosif Iser, Lucian Grigorescu, Rodica Maniu.
„Expoziția pregătită cu pasiune de colega noastră Liliana Chiriac își propune să prezinte o parte din lucrările realizate de artiștii noștri în parcursul lor francez, cu focalizare asupra temei peisajului. Proiectul acesta vorbește însă și despre legăturile noastre cu cultura franceză, a căror temelii, și nu începuturi, se realizează tot în secolul al XIX-lea, de atunci într-o continuitate crescândă până azi”, a scris Călin Stegerean, directorul general al MNAR, în catalogul editat cu această ocazie.
Patrimoniul Muzeului Colecțiilor de Artă este variat, bucurându-se de expunerea permanentă a treizeci și patru de colecții dintre cele patruzeci și cinci donate statului. „Au fost selectate în mod riguros cele mai reprezentative lucrări din fiecare colecție; operele au fost grupate pe autori, pentru a pune în valoare toți artiștii români din muzeu care au pictat şi desenat în Franța, contribuind astfel la înscrierea artei plastice româneşti în arta universală.“, a explicat Liliana Chiriac, șef secție Muzeul Colecțiilor de Artă și curatorul expoziției.
Expoziția Peisaje franceze în arta românească modernă va fi deschisă în perioada 25 octombrie 2016 – 31 ianuarie 2017 la sediul Muzeului Colecțiilor de Artă din Calea Victoriei nr. 111, Corp C și poate fi vizitată de sâmbătă până miercuri, între orele 10.00 și 18.00
